More complicated....: To truly answer your question, your doctor will need to know other factors about you and your family. Cancer history/risk is a factor. Any history of blood clots? Either for you or your family? These and some other factors need to be balanced with the severity of your symptoms to help you decide the risk vs benefits of taking the medication. Suggest sit down, list questions, then discuss w doc.
