"Adenomyosis" is not a malignancy, but does represent possible invasion of the uterine muscle with endometrial tissue, which can cause cramping and heavier period bleeding. Oral bcp's are a good option, and achieving pregnancy after cessation of bcp's can occur. Get a referral to a maternal-fetal medicine OBGYN physician for guidance.
