Hormonal Medication: Oral contraceptives are used to prevent pregnancies but are also used for pain related to endometriosis, abnormal menstrual periods and other conditions. Adding Ibuprofen to the regimen can decreased pain during menstruation if thats the case, however you must be aware of side effects of all nsaids ( ibuprofen) like stomach ulcers when used on a regular basis. See your obgyn to ask speficically.
