Going on two weeks with blocked ear from fluid. just started antibiotics for ear infection. how long should clogged eat last?

The fluid is trapped in the middle ear space and must exit through the Eustachian tube. This can take up to 3 weeks or so in a routine middle ear infection. Nothing you take or do is likely to speed this up.Antihistamines may actually slow the process.

Good afternoon, I have had an ear infection for 4 months, I have seen two different doctors, I did a course of anti-biotics, and Sinucon. The condition has not cleared up, there is still fluid draining from my ears. Could it be blocked Eustachian tub?
Dr. Prescribed zithromax, 5 day supply, 4 sinus infection. Had fluid in ears that were plugged. Also gave me 2 shots last night. 2day, ears much better less plugged shud i still begin the antibiotic?
