I went to hospital yesterday. the doctor told me i have an ear infection. my ear feels clogged/blocked but there is no wax. i really want to know how long will this last for. how long will this last for?

Most are better in 1-2 weeks. Ask the Dr who has looked at you and your ear. We have not.

I am sorry the doctors at the hospital did not give you better instruction, however if you are experiencing a sudden loss of hearing you really need to be examined by and ear/nose and throat specialist and possibly and audiologist, so that you can have a clear diagnosis of what is causing the problem and how best to treat it. Until then it is hard to estimate how long the condition will last.
