Can one have diabetes with a normal fasting blood glucose? or, a random glucose reading 127 mg/dl. no family history of type-1. symptoms are dizziness

Diabetes: One normal fasting blood sugar or a random blood sugar of 127 doesn't rule out mild diabetes or prediabetes. Checking the hgbA1c or checking a blood sugar 2 hours after a sugar load would be more diagnostic.
