These are not the same class of medicine so being allergic to compazine does not put you at risk of reacting to meclizine. There would be no cross-reactivity. If your nausea and vomiting continue, you should let your doctor know as there may be a specific reason for the nausea/vomiting that needs to be treated. Good luck to you!

An allergy to one of these medications does not mean that you would be allergic to the other. You should ask your doctor if the Meclizine is appropriate for your clinical presentation. Good luck.
