Not advisable.: Domperidone has been banned in the United States for years because of fatal cardiac arrhythmias among cancer patients who had been prescribed the drug to prevent nausea and vomiting. It is inadvisable to take this medication for nausea. Talk to your Dr about other options. Allergic reaction is negative.

Different drugs: Compazine and domperidone are totally different classes of drugs with compazine acting mostly at the central nervous system level while domperidone is not crossing the blood brain barrier, allergy to compazine would not be predictive of allergy to domperidone. Domperidone can only be used in US under FDA investigational drug use restrictions due to its heart related significant side effects.
