It sounds like you are on some pretty strong medications already- perhaps icing the area in addition and checking with your doctor to see if an XRay is needed (if not done already) to ensure no fracture. Often the pain is due to pressure in the area from the swelling, once the swelling goes down, you should have some pain relief.
