Dear doc, how accurate if i take tpha 7 months after potential exposure ? since no rpr /vdrl in my place?

It should be conclusive seven months post exposure. However, without RPR/VDRL this test is more valuable if the result is negative because a person who recovered from syphilis will have positive result forever. Take care.

If I want to do a syphilis test 3/4 months from exposure, is VDRL or RPR better, may I be informed of the accuracy of the VDRL, TPHA, RPR tests, whether at 3/4 months the accuracy can reach 100% to rule out syphilis?
