My son is 4 and has type 1 diabetes he has had a few seizures and has been to the doctor and was recommended to see a neurologist. his appointment is in 3 weeks. two nights ago he had another around 2:45 a.m.. i feel he should see a neurologist soon ?

Your choice: You can either wait for the appointment, call in & see if they can make it sooner or go to an Emergency room & see if that changes things. Depending on the local availability of services it may or may not. In general a specialty physician will respond to the recommendation of your regular doctor. Every parent would want answers immediately.
