If you have a documented UTI (with typical urinalysis findings and positive culture for a UTI-causing bacteria), and if the UTI is limited to the lower tract (i.e. not involving the kidneys), symptoms should be improving within 3 days of starting effective treatment. If uncertain, maybe "go back in" or at least call your doctor's office. You might need a different antibiotic. Good luck.
