You need to have this evaluated to be certain it is not your heart. If it is from gastroesophageal reflux, this can and should be treated. So, see a doctor to rule out a cardiac source-if it is cardiac, a cardiologist is needed. If not, see a GI doctor. Good luck to you!

It would take a physical exam and some tests to help rule out a cardiac cause, which is the most important thing in this scenario. Once a cardiac source is ruled out, a trial of antacids for reflux maybe useful. See your primary care doctor ASAP to get started. If the chest pain is severe, go to the emergency room. Good luck.
