You don't mention whether you have gall stones. If you do, I certainly would recommend laporoscopic removal of your gall bladder in view of your symptoms. Otherwise it would be like living with a time bomb,never knowing if&when emergency surgery would be needed. If no gall stones, consult an abdominal surgeon for an opinion.

If your pain and symptoms persist and your surgeon recommends it, you may want to consider gallbladder removal. Good luck.
