If you don't drink water during that 8-hour fasting period your volume is mildly low which may cause a higher serum creatinine. However, that only happens in a patient with borderline kidney function and it is apparently present in your case because your serum creatinine is quite close to the high normal limit of 104. Unless you have a very good body mass, otherwise you probably have mild CKD.
