Your doctor who knows your clinical situation the best is the best doctor to answer this question. Having said that, my advice would be to take the metoprolol and xarelto dose right away and call your doctor for the next steps. You can likely resume your doses at the usual time after taking these doses out of sync. But, if you are hesitant, call your doctor. Good luck to you!

Hello. When I take the metoprolol succinate 25mg tab, around 5-7 hours later the skin on my back and stomach feels like its burning or itchy (I dont scratch) but there is no rash. Is this common or cause for concern? Thank you?
