Taking 2 courses of Paxlovid back to back is not recommended. You are more likely to get side effects without any real advantage treatment-wise. Sometimes with Paxlovid, the symptoms of Covid do recur after the treatment is finished. If the symptoms are relatively mild, the symptoms can be treated-acetaminophen for fever/body aches, cough drops for sore throat/cough, etc.Call your doctor if needed

Last Dec went ER for Covid on 2nd day.Dr gave me 3 tablets Decadron to take at once then sent me home.Can't take Paxlovid due to interaction with Flexainide for Afib.Covid was relatively mild,6 days not too sick.Why just one time dose of Decadron?
Hello! Found out my mother was taking paxlovid incorrectly for covid. She was taking 1 pill in the AM and evening, and not all 3. Its day 6 now and she is 100% better, and went to work. She ok to not take the rest? Still infectious? No symptoms?
