Feelin better overall after 5 days of paxlovid. majority of symptoms have ebbed or greatly reduced. it's been a week since i tested positive w/symptoms. am i almost out of the woods, or could i still suddenly take a turn for the worse?

Sometimes, Paxlovid allows for a temporary reduction in symptoms and then the symptoms return. Sometimes, this doesn’t happen and the recovery continues until all the symptoms resolve. There is no way to know which way it will go for an individual person. But, if the symptoms return, treat the symptoms-acetaminophen or ibuprofen for fever/body aches, etc. Either way, it will get better. Good luck!

Hello! Found out my mother was taking paxlovid incorrectly for covid. She was taking 1 pill in the AM and evening, and not all 3. Its day 6 now and she is 100% better, and went to work. She ok to not take the rest? Still infectious? No symptoms?
