Paxlovid can cause liver enzyme elevations or hepatitis, particularly if there is preexisting liver disease. Although alcohol does not technically interact with Paxlovid, it should be avoided for the previous reason. Wait 2-3 days after completing Paxlovid before consuming alcohol or taking any additional supplements (due to possible interaction).
