A member asked:

I recently did my annual bloodwork and my absolute immature granulocyte count was 0.1% (marked high) should i be concerned and have an another bloodwork done soon?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not particularly. Labeling the value high is a lab standard more than a real issue. They expect zero, but by machine count it came out 1/1000 cells which is as close to zero as you can get without being zero. If it were 5% I would pay a lot of attention. When the doc who ordered it reviews it they should inform you if they think it is an issue in your specific case.
