Ear infection: If in fact you have a bacterial infection then the antibiotics should have improved symptoms in under a week. You may have a condition that is not an infection, or an antibiotic resistant infection. Either way your doctor should be notified of current symptoms to make possible changes in your treatment. Call the doctor and explain your concerns with as accurate a history as you can remember.

Ear problem for almost two months now. Ear pain, dizziness, head twitching when lying down, sensitive to average-volume noise, and popping/crackling noise when swallowing or yawning?
Been feeling lightheaded for the past 5days now and on the second my dr gave me medicine but still feeling dizzy and when walking it feels like my head is gonna drop and I dizzy. Two week back I did the basic health checks and all was fine.
Had a cold for 3 weeks, did virtual visit and doctor has prescribed doxycycline 100mg for 7 days. Was on amox-clav two weeks ago for ear infection before sinus issues really got bad. Is doxycycline the best treatment? Read that it is not?
