A member asked:

Having intermittent bilateral pulsatile tinnitus investigated. would a regular brain mri with and without contrast (not mra) show suspicions for davf? mine was normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

DAVF is a rare condition and I think an actual invasive angiogram is required for accurate diagnosis. The radiologist who interpreted your MRI is best to answer your question, though. Your ordering physician can communicate with him/her.
