If I want to document iron deficiency in a case like yours, I order a total iron binding capacity and if it's elevated, you have iron deficiency and, as a menstruating woman,I recommend taking a daily iron supplement for it. My sense is you have mild iron deficiency anemia at this time. Do you have fatigue?
