I have a question about my 6 year old grandson that has had a few petechiae dots on his thighs a couple of times. they have never formed a rash or gotten larger and fade in a few days. no other symptoms at all, my daughter will be making appointment?

If he has bruises, easy bleeding, bleeding with brushing his teeth or a family history of bleeding disorders, there are screening tests available. Most likely this finding is related to local pressure. Check that his car seat is properly installed.
