I have a question about my 6 year old grandson that has had a few petechiae dots on his thighs a couple of times. they have never formed a rash or gotten larger and fade in a few days. no other symptoms at all, my daughter will be making appointment?

This finding may be associated with local pressure on the skin. If he has bruises, easy bleeding, bleeding with brushing his teeth or a family history of bleeding disorders, there are screening tests available. Most likely this finding is related to local pressure. Check that his car seat is properly installed.
