Had a scrotal hernia repaired in 1993,i am now 65 years old and i have some pain in the scar area not all the time,i have had a cat scan and it showed nothing.i would like to know if i could wear a truss for support during the day?

Neg CT (and hopefully a local exam) means you have no hernia in the area- A truss is to keep a hernia in - so you dont need to wear one. Besides it will only irritate the area . Best is to see a surgeon - things like nerve entrapment in the scar can cause such symptoms. Good luck
