The name of the disorder answers your question: by definition, "obsessive compulsive disorder" means obsessive and compulsive thoughts. OCD can be considered normal or abnormal, depending on severity -- which in turn usually means how disturbing the problem is to you. That you feel the need to ask this question suggests it's a problem for you. Discuss with your doctor; counseling may be in order.
