No you do not have to wait to lie down. This drug is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Try to take it at the same time every day.

No, you do not have to lay down after taking the diuretic, however it can cause mild dizziness when getting up from laying down, this is when you have to give it time for your blood pressure to self adjust, being cautious with such changes in position is advisable.
