So my brother has had a problem with like eating his dead skin or skin around his chapped lips/fingers since we were kids. he doesnt do it as often but hes kinda worried about the side effects. will it make him sick? his blood work is normal?

Very doubtful that it will make him ill, but this behavior is a habit that though difficult to break, can be addressed by him and corrected with the help of his family doc, friends , and family.
