An evaluation for Diabetes, Migraines and an Opthalmologic disorder is recommended. Additional studies may be ordered and a retinal exam is recommended.

Does pressure on the temporal area or on the side of the face increase the level of pain? Does active jaw movement cause an increase in the pain? TMJ disorders are often called the "Great Imposter" due to the numerous seemingly unrelated symptoms you listed and which are not readily associated with a TMJ disorder by most clinicians. I commonly see these symptoms in my TMJ patients.
