Does a slightly high rbc always mean blood cancer mine is always at 5.62 platelet is 425 my hematologist not concern but when i read online it says blood cancer ? can slighty elevated be cancer ? what other test can i do to make sure its not?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If your hematologist is "not concerned" that is reassuring. If repeat blood studies indicate concern, he/she may order a bone marrow biopsy to be certain about the cellular constituency.
