C/S fusion : Findings on a cervical spine MRI alone may not be enough to determine if surgery is or is not needed. Rather, the combination of findings on mri, failure of conservative treatment, degree and progression of symptoms, as well as objective evidence of neurological compromise are used in determining if surgery is the best option.
