A member asked:

Good afternoon doctors. how often should you get an ekg and a cardiac ultrasound with carotid test?

It depends on your clinical situation. Do you have any cardiac issues, any arrhythmias, any symptoms related to your carotids, history of stroke, etc. Your doctor, who knows your clinical situation, can answer this. If you see a cardiologist, the cardiologist would determine this, based on your clinical history. Good luck to you!
