Not so simple. Yes, we can continue to maintain cognitive functions at a higher level if we regularly perform challenging intellectual tasks. There is evidence to suggest delays of dementia as we age. But at age 33, unless you have a hereditary disorder or a metabolic/ vitamin deficiency, you are NOT yet at risk.
