Just had an endoscopy. i have gastritis. my question is if i had erosive gastritis, would the report specifically say erosive gastritis?

The report may or may not use the word erosive. You should speak to the doctor who did the procedure and ask if the gastritis seen is considered erosive. You also need to find out what the treatment will be. You likely will need a proton pump inhibitor, if you aren’t on one already. Best of luck to you!

Yes, if erosions were present the gastroenterologist would have described those. You should follow up with the gastroenterologist to determine why you have gastritis and treated appropriately. Good luck.
