You have a misunderstanding. Dairy products (milk, ice cream, etc) interfere with absorption of the drug, but even this is unlikely to be a problem except in high dose: don't take doxy with, say, a large sundae. But most foods are entirely OK, including eggs. In fact, it is often recommended that stomach upset from doxy can be prevented by taking the drug with meals, except no dairy foods.
