First night on cpap, but couldn't tolerate it more than 30 min, was causing me a chest pain, so i took it off, and then felt better without it. pressure is 7. was the chest pain from too much air flow?

It does take time to get used to CPAP. A pressure of 7 is actually not very high so I doubt the chest pain was due to too much pressure/air flow. You should contact your doctor to find out why you had chest pain-it could be anxiety from the CPAP but you need to have it evaluated to be certain. If you continue to wear the CPAP regularly, you will get used to it. Good luck to you!

Would recommend few more attempts to wear it (few nights). If the chest pain recurs, it might have to do with using CPAP, even though it is unlikely to be due to the air flow. Next step would be to have the tech from the company providing the equipment come in and check fitting, technique, etc.
