Brush/Floss/Dentist: You cannot take antibiotics to rid your mouth of bacteria, at least not for any period of time longer than 10-days. Bacteria will return immediately, each day thereafter. What you can do is brush 3x/day, floss nightly, and see your dentist regularly (at least every 6-months, maybe more, if necessary). Bacteria is inherently present in the mouth and will be for your whole life. Best regards!

Don't bother: Will not be healthy for you, will not eliminate all bacteria, will not stop your halitosis. You assume that it is the bacteria in your mouth that are causing the problem, but halitosis may be coming from gerd or your diet. Speak to a gastroenterologist for further insight. All the best...

Not that simple!: It's impossible to eliminate all the bacteria in your mouth & even if you could, first they would only return, and secondly it wouldn't necessarily stop the halitosis. There are lots of causes for halitosis, both dental and medical. If you really want to do something, first see a dentist to check for all the dental possibilities, and then see a physician if necessary to rule out the medical ones.
