A member asked:

Explain- .5 x 0.2 x 0.5 cm mixed echogenicity predominantly hypochoic circumscribed avascular parallel mass. there is question of central increased echogenicity with possible vascularity, which could reflect fatty hilum and perihilar vasculature?

This needs to be interpreted by the doctor who ordered the test. What test result is this-is it a CT of the chest? Whatever was identified is being described first as a mass but it is quite small and it has mixed tissue. Then, it says it could represent fat as well as blood vessels (and, thus not a mass). Therefore, the doctor who ordered this test needs to review these results with you. Good luck
