Ive had osteopenia but my bones have gotten better taking collagen, why does my right knee that i had surgery on 11 yrs ago all of a sudden hurts more than usual, i have a hard time putting my knee down and its making it hard for me to walk so why?

You may have developed over time, a progressive chondromalacia, or indeed had additional focal cartilage damage. Recommend revisiting an orthopedic surgeon and re-evaluating your knee.

Sudden onset of knee pain goes along with a new injury or strain to your knee. Recommend in person examination with orthopedic sports medicine, physician for diagnosis and treatment.
