You may need to see a Dr for exam (could have an infected cyst or hair follicle) soon but can try warm compresses every few hours & ibuprofen orally for pain/inflammation at home, & if the swelling/inflammation seem superficial some over the counter 1% hydrocortisone cream might help (but do NOT use if there are breaks in the skin/wounds present. If you develop fever/nausea/dizziness see Dr ASAP

Red, inflamed and burning armpit suggest possible Acute Infection, probably resultant from local bacteria inoculated by vigorous scratching or nicked shaving. Cleaning with Warm Epson Salt water can help but a visit to PCP/GP for possible Antibiotic treatment is Encouraged
