A member asked:

In the early 2000's my personal physician prescribed some medication for my prostate inflammation. 15 pills on a blister pack, 5 doses. day,1 pill, day 2, 2. so on until 5 on day 5. does this sound familiar? my current doc said he would look into it?

This is a public information site where volunteer docs answer questions about health problems. We do not offer prescriptions/notes or do direct patient care in any form. There are steroid medications in that type of packaging. Why it would be used in that situation would be something the doc would determine.

No it does not. Ask your personal physician to tell you the name of the medicine and let the present doc know.
