Bleeding into the leg muscle compartment can cause compartment syndrome requiring emergency fasciotomy to relieve the pressure and restore circulation to the muscle compartment.

Bone marrow biopsy is usually done on the iliac crest and bleeding there would not cause compartment syndrome. The bone marrow biopsy and the compartment syndrome are likely coincidental. You may have a bleeding tendency and could have bled in the leg, unrelated to the biopsy. It would prudent to consult your doctor to determine is intervention is needed.
