I sometimes have a sharp pain in left part of my chest it lasts for 1-2 minutes but during this breathing is difficult. i had this since i was a kid but it disappeared but today i experienced it again. what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

At your age this is likely pain from the area of the stomach entrance which is physically located just behind the heart to the left. It may be aggravated if you press over the area at the point where the left ribs end over the stomach. Stomach acid can roll backwards & burn the area. Antacids like tums may help.
