I had an angiogram of head and neck. it was discovered when going in i had severe tortuosity of innominate artery but they were still able to do it. what causes severe tortuosity of innominate artery? is it dangerous?

Causes of a tortuous innominate artery are unclear, but high blood pressure,arteriosclerosis & obesity have been mentioned. Biopsies& surgery near one are challenging and could be dangerous unless great care is taken.
