My 7 year old son had a cut on his forehead and we had to go to er. they applied skin and everything went fine. 3 days later, he peeled it off. being that he is autistic, its hard for him to understand he has a wound that has to heal. any help?

If the wound edges are in togeter - just cover area with band aide if not go back to the ER for stitches. I hope he does well.

The wound should be kept clean and dry, and a clean bandaid applied and changed daily. The wound should not have pus, increased redness or increased pain at this time during the healing process.
