I have a client with autism and she has nightime seizures. we started to notice between a few days and 2 weeks before she has one she gets aggressive and moody. she takes meds for it and sees a doctor. is this a real thing that happens or in our head?

Not unique to have emotional buildup and tension causing moodiness and anger for several days prior to breakthrough seizures. This is all consistent with poor epileptic control and should be brought to the attention of her neurologist. Blood testing can reveal if meds are within a therapeutic range, and/or if medication modification may be needed
