Pain after fracture: I would say that pain after a fractured hand can take a varying amount of time to heal and feel no pain from, depending on the severity of the initial injury as well as where in particular the fracture ocurred. 4-5 months of continued discomfort in a patient would worry me enough to do a repeat x-ray or MRI to see if there is something complicating your recovery.
