The lateral sulcus is a space between the diaphragm and the chest wall. If your diaphragm and lateral sulcus (singular version-there is one on both sides) are unremarkable, it means they appear normal in whatever study you had done. See the doctor who ordered the test for the interpretation of the results since they know you best. Good luck to you!
