This is a finding found in interstitial cystitis, a condition usually causing urinary symptoms with associated discomfort in the lower abdomen. I recommend consulting a urologist for evaluation and advice. At the very least, bladder wall thickening can can impair the bladder's ability to hold and properly expel adequate volumes of urine.

This finding is not related to your esophageal ca. Bladder wall thickening usually is of the bladder muscle - most often due obstruction to the flow of urine Cystitis is the inflammation of the lining of the bladder. If you have no symptoms nothing needs to be done. If worried pl see a urologist
