Lattice and an old hole (all in the retina) will not interfere with the cataract removal procedure. The lattice creates a slightly increased risk of retinal detachment in the future after cataract surgery but this risk is too small to be concerned if you need cataract removal. So yes if the cataract is significant, then have the removal.
